Get your community verified

Verification shows a fluxer.com community is the official one for a project, brand or creator. A link from your official website is the simplest proof.

Verification shows that a community on fluxer.com is the official one for a project, organization, brand, creator or public figure. It isn't an endorsement from us.

What verified communities get

  • Your community gets a verified badge next to its name.
  • A community that's also partnered gets one badge that shows both.
  • Your community is listed in Explore as soon as you apply, as long as it has enough members. If it doesn't, the "Explore" tab shows the minimum.

A community can be both verified and partnered. If you mostly want people to find your community, you can list it in Explore without getting verified.

What we look at

We need to see that your community really is the official one. A link to it from your official website, code repository or social media accounts is usually the simplest proof. An email from your project's or organization's own domain also helps.

The project, organization or person needs to exist outside Fluxer, although it doesn't have to be online. There's no minimum size, and small projects and local groups are welcome.

We decide case by case, and proof doesn't guarantee verification. Verified communities must follow our community guidelines and be safe for everyone 13 and up.

We'd especially like to verify open source and free software projects.

How to ask

Email partners@fluxer.com with "Verified" and your community's name in the subject, like "Verified: Example Foundation". Please tell us which community it is on Fluxer and who it's the official community for, and include your proof. Please don't send ID documents.

Staying verified

Verification belongs to the project, organization or person that we checked. If your community stops being their official community, for example because it goes to an owner who doesn't speak for them, we may remove the verified badge.

We'll usually contact you first, but for serious problems we may remove verification right away. The owner can reply to our email and ask us to look again. If we removed it under our guidelines, you can appeal under section 6.2 of our terms.
