Fluxer for Android: Google Play beta and APK

Every way to install the Android beta and keep it up to date, through an app store, an updater app or an APK you download yourself.

Latest beta: v2026.11.100-beta.2

Get the beta from Google Play. It installs and updates like any other app.

The Google Play beta and the builds below are signed differently, and one can't update the other. Uninstall Fluxer first when you switch from one to the other.

Install with Obtainium

Obtainium is an app that installs the beta from GitHub and updates it for you. Use it on phones without Google Play services, or on any phone where you would rather not use Google Play.

Both builds install as the same app, and one replaces the other. Pick one and stay with it.

Direct downloads

If you'd rather not use Obtainium, download a build directly. You'll need to do it for every update.

Almost every phone made since 2016 needs arm64-v8a. If you're not sure which one your phone needs, pick the universal build. It's a much larger download, but it works on any Android phone.

Firebase Cloud Messaging (betafcm)

For phones with Google Play services, such as Samsung and Pixel phones. Notifications arrive over Firebase Cloud Messaging.

UnifiedPush (betaoss)

For phones without Google Play services, such as GrapheneOS. Notifications use UnifiedPush, which you set up separately.

Verify the signature

Android builds on this page and on GitHub are signed with the certificate that has this SHA-256 fingerprint, but the Google Play beta isn't. Check the fingerprint of any other APK before you install it.

Fluxer isn't on F-Droid or Accrescent yet. We plan to publish it there for the full release.
