# Can I change my date of birth?

Why Fluxer can't change the date of birth on your account, why our support team can't either, and why we never accept ID to prove your age.

You can't change the date of birth on your Fluxer account, and our support team can't change it for you either, because a change would need proof of your age, such as an ID document, and we never ask for or accept any proof of age.

## We never accept ID

As [section 11 of our privacy policy](https://canary.fluxer.com/privacy.md) says, we never ask for or accept ID documents, selfies, videos of your face, facial age estimation, biometric scans, or any other document to check anyone's age, including for date of birth changes and age appeals.

Please don't send us one, and if you send one anyway, we delete it without using it.

If someone asks you for an ID document on behalf of Fluxer, it isn't us, and you can report it to our support team by sending an email to [support@fluxer.com](mailto:support@fluxer.com).

## If you entered the wrong date

Your account keeps working with the date you entered. If that date makes you under 18, you can't see any age-restricted content. If it puts you below the minimum age for your country, the account is deleted, as [our minimum age rules](https://canary.fluxer.com/help/minimum-age.md) explain.
